Melon soup

And today a classic summer soup. I'm pretty sure that there will be lots of variants for this recipe. I'm going to show the one I prefer. It won't take you more than ten minutes to prepare it. Really cold from the fridge and without having to use the fire to make it.

Ingredients

  1. One ripe cantaloupe melon
  2. One greek yougurt
  3. Salt
  4. White pepper
  5. Mint
  6. Spanish jamon

Preparation

Cut the melon in two parts from the middle. Once done, retire the seeds and take out the fruit from it. If you want to impress your girlfriend, boyfriend, lover or aunt, make six little squares to decorate. Put the rest in the blender and let it do it's job. Then put the greek yougurt and mix it. Season to taste with the salt and white pepper.  Put it back inside the melon and bring it to the fridge.

Then, fry two slices of jamon till it get toasted and leave it above an absorbent paper to make it dry. Once dried, cut it into shavings.

When the soup it's cold enough, add the melon squares, the jamon shavings and few leaves of mint.

Enjoy!
